| I would hope that by now your curiosity is aroused and that you want to go further into the details of this fascinating area of law enforcement.
I am a retired Art professor. I have been drawing and painting and doing the work of the sculptor for 50 years. I have taught drawing painting and sculpture, mechanical and architectural drawing, architectural illustration and architectural scale model making. I also teach wood carving. I have also taught in the State and County prison systems.Should you be curious as to the fruits of my other labors I would suggest that you log onto: <www.29east.com> to see a representative gathering of my works. I worked for the Camden County Prosecutors office for a period of 5 years as a forensics specialist and under whose auspices this work was done. I make no claims to being an expert in this field as I follow the old adage that " a camel is a horse put together by experts". My wish was to be helpful and still is. Should I be able to help you in any way, please do not hesitate to contact me at <cedarcroft@comcast.net>. |

| This row house model was built for a sucessful prosecution of brothers on a murder charge. Used as a model of the crime scene it had 1/8" clear plastic side and back to replace side and rear walls.
The police officer answering neighbors calls about boys running back and forth over the rooftops resulted in his murder at the hands of the boys. Before he had died he shot and killed the younger of the two boys during an attack by both boys simultaneously. The sequence of events starting at the front door where the younger of two boys was encountered, the older boy coming out of his bedroom at the top of the stairs and and jumping on the officers back stabbing him in the back and the scuffle which resulted in the younger boys death was a complex case which required the model to explain to the jury exactly what happened and when. The model was to scale. The details of the case involved all of the rooms on the ground floor as the scuffle started in the living room and wound up in the kitchen. The younger of the two boys was 14 years of age which demanded that the prosecutor have at his disposal all the the necessary evidence and presentation to allow the jury to see that the shooting was justified under the attack by the boys that resulted in the police officers death. |
